Boston was just as beautiful as I remember it. Looking forward to maybe getting out on those Community Boating sailboats this fall!
Got to hang out with a lot of good friends I haven't seen in ages.
And - hell yea!! - finally got to play some great games w/ my best buddy Stu. I really miss gaming overseas.
I bought my ticket for China - I leave on April 15th. Between now and then I'll be traveling out to Iowa to visit family, planning and packing for the trip, etc etc - but ... not gonna lie, it feels very strange to be without a job right now. I'm being pretty careful with money since none is coming in right now, but still, I have this subtle underlying feeling of - guilt? Maybe it's guilt. Humans were meant to work, I think. I miss teaching a lot. Anyone want to hire a mercenary teacher for 2 weeks in Boston? :D
